LPN/RN - Respite (Story City)
Location: Ames Iowa
Description: ChildServe is hiring LPN/RN - Respite (Story City) right now, this position will be placed in Iowa. Further informations about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Provides skilled nursing interventions to children with special health care needs in respite care services. Completes assessments and health care plans for children receiving services. Provides professional nursing, personal care and skill development services for assigned children in home care setting. Works within the framework of physician’s orders, family instructions, individualized health and program plans, professional and regulatory guidelines, and Child Serve policies and procedures.
Shift: Primarily evenings during week with occasional weekend shifts. (hours primarliy would be during the week from 6p-10 or 11p. Possibility of an occasional overnight. Some Saturday shifts possible).
Location - Story City
QUALIFICATIONS :
1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure to practice nursing in Iowa as an LPN or RN.
2. Current CPR is required.
3. Clinical nursing experience in pediatrics, homecare or other acute care setting preferred.
4. Must past post offer DCI child abuse background check.
5. Must have a reliable means of transportation.
6. Must have good organizational and communication skills.
