Ultimate Nursing Services is a fast growing family centered team of professionals looking for an experienced Administrator who is seeking a challenge in their career. We specialize in hourly nursing care ranging from 2-24 hours per day up to 7 days per week with a focus in the rural markets. Founded in 1985 by a nurse, we have rapidly expanded throughout the midwest and in Iowa. The Administrator is accountable for the organization and direction of the agency's ongoing functions on a day to day basis; maintains ongoing liaison among the governing body, the group of professional personnel (Advisory Board) and the staff. The Administrator is responsible for employing qualified personnel and ensures adequate staff education and evaluations; ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities and implements an effective budgeting and accounting system. Other job responsibilities include:A. Responsible for assisting and coordinating with the Clinical Nurse Manager to maintain communication between members of the interdisciplinary team, including the client, family members, nursing staff, the attending physicians and other care providers.B. Develops and implements regional goals and objectives which are consistent with those of the organization.C. Employs qualified personnel according to company policy, federal, state, and local laws to specifically meet the needs of each individual client and ensure continuity of care.D. Completes and maintains personnel file audits and medical chart audits to ensure compliance with current and updated information as required by company policy and federal, state, or local laws. E. Monitors client staffing as scheduled by the Clinical Nurse Manager and/or Office Manager/Scheduler in accordance with the physician's Plan of Care (POC). Assists with the hiring process to ensure timely and consistent staff coverage in the event of a staffing failure.F. Assists in conducting or conducts and documents 90 day and annual performance evaluations in a timely manner and no later than required by company policy, federal, state or local laws. Delivers disciplinary action as needed in accordance with agency policy. A. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN or equivalent preferred. Licensed as an RN without restrictions in state(s) or practice. B. Minimum of one year clinical experience in home health preferred with three years experience as a RN. Minimum of three years pediatric experience preferred and two years of supervisory experience. C.
