Description: Northwestern College is currently interviewing Nursing Arts Laboratory Coordinator right now, this position will be placed in Iowa. More details about this position opportunity please read the description below. Northwestern College has an opening for a nursing arts laboratory coordinator in the nursing department. This 10-month, half-time position is responsible for providing health! profession education in the clinical laboratory setting, utilizing human patient simulators and other simulation laboratory equipment. She/he manages the laboratory inventory and facilitates inter-professional training among college staff and staff from any clinical partners.

The qualified applicant will hold at least a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and an R.N. license with one to three years of related clinical experience. Applicants must possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication aptitudes. Applicants must also possess a strong commitment to service and the ability to adapt to a changing work environment. The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn specialized nursing software applications and be competent in using Microsoft Word and Excel. The nursing arts laboratory coordinator will order services or supplies, assist faculty with laboratory experiences, and mentor students in acquiring basic skills.
