Labor & Delivery Nurse - (LD RN)

The elite team members of this OB unit are seeking a like-minded, compassionate R! N to join their ranks. With a care-giving model based on optimal patient outcomes, the ideal candidate will bring experience, innovation and passion to their role.
Labor and delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages. They provide support and monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth and deal with any potential problems. They may also provide support and education to mothers and their families after giving birth. LD nurses are found in hospitals, clinics and physician offices, and maternity or birthing centers.
Required Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
1. Minimum 3 yrs Experience w/ OB experience required to float to Med/Surg
2. We need someone who is comfortable in Med-Surg if OB is closed, but they must be able to do the "first" position in OB which is Labor and Delivery and Postpartum.
3. ACLS, BCLS, NRP Required / PALS & STABLE prefe! rred
