We are seeking a Nurse Manager Surgical Services. You wi! ll report to the Chief Nursing Officer and are responsible and accountable for the organization and supervision of the surgery department, surgical sterilization, surgical holding, recovery room, central services, and others as assigned by the CNE.

The Nursing Manager - Surgical Services is delegated authority to develop and maintain the perioperative services in accordance with overall hospital policies. Although professional surgical practices are developed cooperatively with the Medical and other professional staff, the Manager retains authority over surgical practice in the assigned departments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited program for nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Iowa.
Minimum of three (3) years+ of OR experience is required.
OR Supervisory experience.
Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills.
Will be requ! ired to maintain BCLS certification.
ACLS and other certifications may also be required.
