Quality Improvement Manager

This position is responsible for managing assigned health management services which can include: population health management, practice facilitation, medical/utilization management, case/disease! /maternity management and /or quality improvement activities. The position will be responsible for monitoring compliance in accordance with client and contract deliverables as well as service/accreditation requirements as applicable.
Essential Functions:
1. Manages the day to day operations of multiple and diverse health management lines of service and/or contracts/programs. Provides technical assistance, including issue research and resolution. Develops and implements process improvement methodologies for an organization whose philosophy is continual improvement. Depending on the scope of assigned area, may facilitate national programs/projects. Ensures the operations are completed timely, satisfactory, compliant manner within assigned funding/budget.
2. Selects, develops, and manages employees to achieve individual, team, and organizational success. Ensures employee accountability through routine observation, performance measurement, and perfo! rmance feedback. Fulfills the Telligen Management Philosophy t! hat "Managers coach, engage, and support our people to achieve results". Provides resources and support as needed to meet the departmental and Company goals and specific contract/program requirements.
3. Represents the company and presents at meetings and/or conferences. Works externally with providers or clients as assigned. Makes recommendations for improvements and/or efficiencies to management.
4. Stays abreast of industry trends and changes. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Four year degree in nursing, health care or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience; 5 years clinical experience; 3 รข" 5 years managing a professional staff.
Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship.
Additional Comments:
10% local and overnight travel.
Certain positions may require advanced certifications or the ability to obtain certifications within 2 ! years.
