Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementa! tion, and evaluation in coordination with other health team members. Effectively interacts with the patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. May dictate discharge summaries as directed by supervising physician. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
Required Skills
Current license as a registered nurse from the State of Iowa
Basic Cardiac Life Support required. Upon hire, must be completed within 60 days.
Maintains current and active status on all required training and education as outlined by corporate policy.
Required Experience
Health care experience within the last five years preferred
