Serve as the quality improvement consultant for the organization working closely with leaders and staff as indicated to implement consistent and comprehensive process improvement models to ensure high levels of quality performance in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Develop a communication plan/tool and coordinate outcome and compliance measurement.
Function as a quality improvement and compliance resource to affiliate personnel.
Collaborate with outside resources, such as the Quality Improvement Organization! / NHPCO and affiliate networks to effectively and efficiently ! assist staff and affiliates to achieve desired outcomes.
Acts as a resource for the development of evidence based protocols/order sets.
Qualifications/Experience
Graduate of State Board approved program for Registered Nurses.
Current license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa for Registered Nurse.
Three years nursing experience, preferably in community/home health and or hospice, management or review.
Knowledge of performance improvement, quality assurance and utilization management.
Experience with quality assessment and monitoring activities
