Location: Cedar Rapids Iowa

Description: UnityPoint Clinic â€" Cardiology (Cedar Rapids) is employing RN-CLC (31458) right now, this occupation will be placed in Iowa. More details about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Maintains physician's daily schedule, calendar, and meetings. Assist scheduling department with clinic patient appointments and hospital testing and procedures. Provide nursing support to physician. Triage patient phone calls and collaborate with physician. Prepare patient charts by obtaining and collecting patient medical data. Supervises and directs float nursing support. Obtain patient EKGs. Review physician's mail and incoming courier. Assist with special projects.

Qualifications/Experience

Current RN State! of Iowa License/ CPR and/or ACLS certification

2 yea! rs acute care nursing experience, preferably in cardiology and/or office nurse experience

Exceptional communication, problem solving and organizational skills

Have ability to multi-task and handle numerous interruptions, to follow through on tasks to completion.

Ability to prioritize work.

Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with physicians, nurses, other clinic support staff, and community medical providers.

Ability to mentor and supervise others, leading by example.

Good understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system.

Have exceptional clinical and technical nursing skills.

Maintain clinic and patient confidentiality.

Is respectful and courteous in all encounters and represents the physician and the practice at all times in a professional, positive, and supportive manner.
