Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Provides all activities of daily living to the Residents, including, but not limited to bathing, dressing, transferring residents, grooming, welcoming residents when moving in and assisting when moving out of the facility, participate with rehabilitation and restorative needs. Follow established safety precautions in the performance of all duties. Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information. Ensure that ! all nursing care is provided in privacy. Attend and participat! e in scheduled training, in-service training, mandatory annual in-service training and educational classes as required/needed.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Iowa.
Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferred.
Must possess superior customer service skills and professionalism.
Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt o ongoing change and work with in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.
Self-starter highly motivated with a high productivity level.
Must be able to push, pull, move and or lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
Pre-employment physical and drug screening required.
