HSC 109 â€" Intro to Health Careers
Monday â€" Friday 7:30-9:30pm
HSC 120 â€" Medical Terminology
Monday â€" Friday 7:30-9:30pm
Essential Functions:
Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment.
Required Qualifications:
For HSC 109 â€" Graduate of a health career program. Three years non-teaching related work experience.
For HSC 120 â€" Associates degree or Registered Nurse. Three years non-teaching related work experience.
Demonstrated effectiveness working with populations having diverse values, and/or coming from varied cultures and backgrounds.
