HEALTHCARE DIRECTOR OF INPATIENT GERIATRIC PSYCH

Description: Aureus Group is at present looking to employ HEALTHCARE DIRECTOR OF INPATIENT GERIATRIC PSYCH right now, this position will be placed in Iowa. The Healthcare Director will oversee the daily operations of the Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Unit with 24 / 7 accountability and responsib! ility. The incumbent provides positive leadership and problem solving skills and is responsible for continuous quality improvement, budgeting, customer and staff feedback, training and development. The Healthcare Director works cooperatively with other departments and community and professional organizations to ensure quality services. The Director utilizes critical thinking to assess, plan, implement and evaluate outcome-based care for this geriatric patient population.

Qualifications for the Healthcare Director position:

• BSN or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursing required
• Current Iowa RN license or ability to obtain
• Minimum of 3 years inpatient psychiatric or mental health nursing experience
• Management / Supervisory experience required

Position : HC/Director
Licenses / Certifications : State License-RN
