JOB SUMMARY:
Performs as an instruc! tor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in! nursing..

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles
2. Promotes a positive and desirable atmosphere within the classroom setting to insure maximum student motivation
3. Maintains a high degree of discipline within the classroom setting in order to insure maximum learning
4. Establishes a high degree of student/instructor rapport
5. Utilizes all possible curriculum resources available
6. Responsible for the maintenance of student personnel folders
7. Records and forwards daily attendance to the Student Records area
8. Assists in the completion of all necessary Job Corps forms
9. Responsible for insuring that the equipment and supplies are cared for
10. Accountable for the cleanliness of classrooms
11. Responsible for reports required by the Manager such as student/staff hours, requisitions and monthly student evaluations
12. Assists Manager during! scheduled inventory
13. Additionally, this position will provide instruction that engages, guides and instructs. Coordinates all medical instruction for students. Provide instruction guidance and oversight for all off center training. Maintain all equipment. Manage department within financial budget.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 2 years of practical clinical nursing experience in long term care facility required. Teaching Certificate and teaching experience. If candidate is not credentialed he/she must pursue credential/certification. Must have the ability to transfer topical knowledge to meet specific learning objectives.

Preferred: Extensive practical experience as RN and vocational teaching experience.

Knowledge Required: Knowledge of methods needed to instill appropriate behavior as well as work and study habits in adolescent students; of housekeeping technique! s and management; to read, comprehend, interpret, communicate and execut! e instructions or directives fluently in English.
