As a Director of Clinical Services at AseraCare Hospice, you’ll be responsible for daily management of nursing and patient care. Rather than treating the disease, you’ll focus your staff’s efforts on the whole person. With so many relying on your clinical leadership, direction and supervision, you’ll help our patients live life to the fullest. You’ll be an advocate for patients and families, maintaining existing programs and creating new ones to meet their special needs. Provide invaluable support for our patients and families during these difficult but significant moments in their lives as a Director of Clinical Services by performing a wide variety of daily responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current state license
• Must meet all federal and state regulatory requirements
• Must have current CPR certification
• Must have at least 3 year’s clinical management experience
• Must have experience in providing services to terminally ill patients
• Must have knowledge of home health regulations and operational processes
• Previous hospice management experience preferred
• Must have 24-hour access to reliable automobile that meets state and company regulations regarding automobile liability insurance coverage. Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have ability to direct and supervise clinica! l staff
• Must have knowledge of state, federal and accrediting regulations
• Knowledge of hospice reimbursement requirements preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be highly organized, detail oriented and conscious of cost containment practices
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
• Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with other employees at all levels
