Respite Service Assistant - Weekends (Per Diem)
Location: Ames Iowa
Description: ChildServe is in need of Respite Service Assistant - Weekends (Per Diem) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Iowa. More details about this vacancy opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Provide personal care and supervision for children with special health care needs in group and in-home settings.
STATUS: Per Diem
SHIFT: Varied hours needed on weekends: Saturdays from 630-230 or 230-11p, overnights on Friday and Saturday evenings from 11p-7a. Evening hours during the week beginning after 2:30pm
LOCATION: Ames and surrounding communities
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma, Education in Early Childhood, Special Education, Human Services, CPR, Medication Manager, Nursing Aide certification preferred but not required.
Experience : Preferred experience working with children
Transport/Travel:
a. Must be willing to become an authorized driver through ChildServe if required and have access to well-maintained personal vehicle that meets ChildServe safety standards and is willing to use to transport children.
b. Must be willing to obtain a Chauffeur license.
