EKG Technician

Every other weekend 7a - 12pm occasional work during the week

Performs EKGs and signaled averaged EKGs.

Applies and removes Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitors.

Edits and processes reports.

Performs ! daily maintenance and quality control.

Performs preve! ntive maintenance on equipment.

Contacts Bio Med, as appropriate, for repairs.

Experience

No previous experience necessary.

Education and Licensure

High school diploma preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of EKG lead placement.

Knowledge of operation of EKG machines, holter and ambulatory blood pressure and signal averaged EKG equipment.

Knowledge of EKG rhythms and diagnosis.

Knowledge of hospital and EKG computers.
