Description: FocusStaff is employing OR TECH right now, this position will be placed in Iowa. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Focus Staff is recruiting for 3 Surg Techs for a 13 weeks Travel oppertunity in: Sioux City, IA
CVOR Tech with min 1 yr Hospital Experience within CVOR. BCLS and CVOR/ORT Course. Surgical Technologist Certification required.
U! nder direct supervision, provides care to patients of all ages during surgical intervention. Practices directly under the supervision and direction of the surgeon, registered nurse circulator, or physician assistant during the intra-operative phase of patient care. Is responsible for preparing the operating room for the surgical procedure including the instruments, equipment, and supplies. Maintains the sterile field during the surgical procedure. Maintains proficiency or expert status in the following specialties: General, Gynecology, Opthalmology, Urology (open and closed), Podiatry, Plastics, and Vascular. The CST may also help serve in other roles on the surgical team.
