Nurse Practitioner

Under the supervision of the Administrator and Medical Director, the nurse practitioner is responsible for monitoring the efficacy of order or treatment changes, assessing resident incidents and changes in condition, providing gui! dance to our nursing staff and conferring with physicians regarding their patients when indicated. Additionally, he/she will review and sign routine orders and renewals required for regulatory compliance to initiate treatment recommendations from ancillary disciplines and consultants. Is responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of his/her license and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate and facility policies/procedures, for directing the plan of care, and for insuring the overall health and well-being of our residents.
Qualification :
Active Iowa Nursing License as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, experience in long term care with knowledge and understanding of Federal and State nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC and Public Safety. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language.
