Ability to lift and/or manewuver objects in the assessment and imlementation of patient care. Positioning and/or transferring of patients require physical effort that may include bending and standing. Ability to walk long distances as well as to respond quickly if emergencies should arise.
Job Description:
Works in collaboration with the Director to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate health care for patients at an employer-based clinic. Has an overall focus on prevention, primary care, wellness, and occupational health. Coordinates care relative to the patient’s Personal Health Assessment results with particular focus on improvement of chronic conditions including diabetes, obesity, hypertension, depression, and tobacco use. Orders and interprets appropriate lab services and treatments. Exercises judgment on any condition requir! ing consultation, referral or evaluation by the supervising ph! ysician or other healthcare professionals.
