Collaborates with the health care team using evidence based practice, demonstrating accountability, respect for patients, families and coworkers, while providing safe and o! ptimal patient outcomes. Promotes continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family as appropriate. Directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care. Performs general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision. Able to work with the age specific populations according to the setting.

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v Graduate of an accredited RN program with current licensure in the State of Iowa as a Registered Nurse.
v Continuing education as required to maintain licensure/certification.
v Maintenance of BCLS verification.
v Child Abuse and Dependent Adult Abuse training.
v Prior experience in an occupational health or clinic setting is preferred.
v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
v High degree of empathetic listening skills, tact and kindness toward others.
v Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effecti! vely as a member of a team.
v Basic computer knowledge v Technical and critical thinking skills in relation to sound nursing judgment.
v Knowledge of nursing practices as they relate to the care of the elderly.
