Provides nursing care for patients with actual or
potential health care problems using the nursing process. Plans and directs the
nursing care for individual! s patients, groups of patients and their
families.

Qualifications

Requires graduate of approved school of nursing, active
Iowa RN licensure issued by the Iowa Board of
Nursing, history of consistently demonstrated excellent customer service,
quality of care, interpersonal and team work skills that meet or exceed The
Finley Hospital core values and service excellence expectations. ACLS and
PALS are both required within one year of hire.

Requires a minimum of 2 years of RN medical/surgical experience or 1 year critical care experience. 72 hours per pay period, 7p-7a. Ability to flex to day shift as unit needs require. 2 Friday, 2 Saturday and 2 Sun! day shifts per 6 week schedule with holiday rotation. ACLS and! PALS within 1 year. Demonstrated history of excellent customer service skills including providing patient education, responsiveness to the patient and patient focused care. Demonstrated effective communication skills with physicians and other providers. Demonstrated ability to utilize critical thinking in clinical situations. Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to changes in patients conditions. Demonstrated ability to be organized and an independent worker, and deal with a fast paced culture. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes and prioritize multiple demands.
