JOB SUMMARY:
This position accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care during
the patientâs stay, through the use of the nursing process.
Directs patient/family
education and delegates to ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a program in professional nursing required. Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa required. Previous experie! nce in acute care preferred. Must provide proof of Basic Life ! Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status. Completes Mandatory Reporting requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years. Demonstrates a high degree of patience and flexibility. Ability to work flexible hours.
