Ensures quality and safe delivery of services to patients according to individualized care plan under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Uses ! equipment and supplies safely, effectively, and efficiently
Consistently utilizes a holistic approach considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients served
Possesses communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and verbally report clinical information to patients, caregivers, and hospice staff.
Recognizes the influence of personal, spiritual, and cultural values on perceptions regarding death and dying and their impact on quality of life .
Qualifications/Experience
High School diploma or GED
Completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program of a minimum of 75 hours
Current listing in good standing with the Iowa State Nurse Aide Registry.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a nursing facility or hospice. .
Strong interpersonal skills
