Position available for a physical therapist for home care in Central, Iowa.

This position centers primarily around orthopedic! and geriatric caseload.

Prior home health experience along with knowledge of Medicare regulations will be helpful. Our goal is to minimize travel by assigning therapists to geographical areas within Northern and Central Iowa.

JOB FUNCTIONS

>
Evaluate new patient referrals and complete all appropriate paperwork.

> Develop and administer plan of therapy to meet established treatment goals.

> Instruct and provides patients/families/caregivers in appropriate exercises and desired activity levels for the patient.

> Communicates as necessary with patient’s physician and care team.

> Maintains a safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.

> Supervises physical therapist assistants

QUALIFICATIONS

> Must possess current physical therapist licensure in the State of Iowa

> Must have Degree in Physical Therapy

>! Knowledge of Medicare regulations and PPS helpful
