Description: Litton Resource Group is looking of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner right now, this job will be placed in Iowa. A large regional healthcare provider has an opportunity for a PA or NP at one of their Outpatient Clinics.Duties include through evaluation and treatment of patients in colla! boration with the physician regarding the provision of direct medical care. Responsibilities include obtaining medical histories, performing physical exams, providing initial emergency care, ordering lab tests and x-rays, prescribing medications, providing patient education and counseling, forming diagnoses and administering treatment in accordance with clinic protocols and established standards are care. The midlevel practitioner is active in the development and maintenance of clinic operations in coordination with the CAC, Clinic Services Director and/or Chief of Clinic Services; participates in performance improvement activities and Lean Healthcare initiatives.
